Breast lift (mastopexy) is a surgical procedure designed to lift and reshape sagging breasts and restore their contours. Breast shape may change following pregnancy, breastfeeding, significant weight loss, or the natural aging process. During the procedure, excess skin is removed, and the nipple and areola are repositioned to create a more elevated and balanced breast shape. The existing breast tissue is reshaped to form a higher and fuller breast. The surgical technique is selected according to the degree of breast sagging and the patient's individual anatomy. If there is insufficient breast tissue to achieve the desired volume, a breast lift may be combined with breast augmentation using implants. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia.
